TomTom MyDrive Connect is a user interface that helps manage the content, maps, and services of a compatible PRO driver terminal. To ensure that a PRO driver terminal is always up to date, it is advisable to frequently connect it to MyDrive Connect. Without MyDrive Connect, it is not possible to download or transfer content to and from a compatible PRO driver terminal.

MyDrive Connect installation
Before installation, check the requirements to ensure that MyDrive Connect can be installed on your computer and operates as expected, without causing malfunction.
Operating system compatibility
Browser compatibility No browser requirements due to built-in browser. Network Firewalls, antivirus scanners, and pop-up blockers can also interfere with MyDrive Connect. It may be necessary to configure your firewall and router to allow MyDrive Connect full access to the internet. If you are using MyDrive Connect on a business network, for example, in an office at your workplace, be aware that your company may have restrictions and access policies that may prevent you from connecting to our servers. Also, if you are using a public network, it could have an unstable internet connection that could cause a download or an installation failure. |
Note: If MyDrive Connect was not installed properly on a computer, the below error message will display when connecting a PRO driver terminal.

Connect your computer to the internet.
Hint: We recommend using a broadband internet connection whenever you connect a driver terminal to MyDrive Connect.
Click 'Download for Windows' to download MyDrive Connect.
We recommend downloading the file to your computer by clicking 'Save.'
Click 'Run' once the download is complete.
Note: If you accidentally closed the 'Download complete' window, locate the file InstallMyDriveConnect.exe on your computer and double-click it.
Click 'Yes' if a 'User Account Control' window appears.
Click the link License Agreement to read the end user license agreement.
Important: Disconnect your PRO driver terminal from your computer before you continue.Select 'I Agree' to accept the terms in the license agreement.
Click 'Install' to install MyDrive Connect on your computer.
Once the installation of MyDrive Connect has completed or when prompted, connect the PRO to your computer.
For PRO 5150/71xx/91xx, use the supplied mount and USB cable. For PRO 5250/7250, connect to the computer using only the supplied micro USB cable.
Switch on the driver terminal.

Click 'Download for Mac' to download MyDrive Connect.
Click the 'Finder' icon in the 'Dock' to switch to 'Finder' once the download is complete.
From the 'Finder' menu at the top of the screen, click 'Go' and choose 'Downloads' to open the 'Your Downloads' folder.
Your Downloads folder opens.
Double-click 'MyDriveConnect.dmg'.
A window opens showing MyDrive Connect.
Double-click 'MyDriveConnect.pkg' to open the MyDrive Connect installer.
Click 'Continue'.
Click www.tomtom.com/legal/?Page=Eula to read the end user license agreement.
Click 'Continue'.
Select 'I Agree' to accept the terms in the license agreement.
Important: Disconnect your PRO driver terminal from your computer before you continue.Click 'Install' to install MyDrive connect on your computer.
Enter your administrator password.
Note: If you do not have administrator rights for the computer, contact the system administrator.
Click 'Install Software' to install MyDrive Connect on your computer.
Once the installation of MyDrive Connect has completed or when prompted, connect the PRO to your computer.

Switch on the driver terminal.
Once MyDrive Connect is installed on a computer, you can easily access the support application from the taskbar of the desktop by clicking the MyDrive Connect icon.

How To Download MyDrive Connect?
- First of all, you should open your preferred internet browser. For instance, you may have Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc on your computing device.
- Thereafter, visit on the official website of TomTom MyDrive Connect.
- On the homepage of MyDrive Connect, you will get the download link for both “Windows” and “Mac” as well.
- Consequently, you are required to click on the link according to your preferred device.
- Then, in between the downloading process, you will get a pop-up for saving the file or choosing the download location. Follow the on-screen prompts carefully.
- Thereafter, you have to wait until the downloading process gets completed.
- Once the download gets completed you have to install the MyDrive Connect software on your device.
Installation Procedure Of MyDrive Connect
For Windows
- First of all, open your downloads folder on your device.
- Thereafter, double-click on the downloaded setup file.
- Now, you will get the security warning pop-up box. Permit the application to run on your system by clicking the “Run” tab.
- If prompted by the User Account Control prompt, then click the “Yes” tab. This is to allow the application to make the necessary changes to your system.
- As a result, MyDriveConnect Setup page will appear on your screen.
- Along with that, you will get a link for the “License Agreement”. Hence, click on the link and read the document carefully. If you agree to the terms of the agreement, select the checkbox next to “I Agree” option.
- Subsequently, click on the “Next” tab.
- Afterwards, click on the “Install” tab in order to accept the default installation folder. Otherwise, click on the “Browse” tab in order to select the different installation folder. Thereafter, click on the “Install” tab.
- Wait until the process gets completed.
- Once the installation process gets completed and you will be notified for the same.
For Mac
- First of all, you should look for the downloaded file on your Mac device. You should locate it in your downloads folder.
- For that, you should click the Finder icon in the Dock i.e at the very bottom of your computer.
- Thereafter, click on the “Go” from the Finder menu at the top of your screen.
- Next, you must select the “Downloads” tab in order to open your download folder.
- As a result, it will open the download folder on your device.
- Then, double-click on the “MyDrive Connect.dmg” file.
- This will open the MyDrive Connect window on your screen.
- Then, double-click on the MyDriveConnect.pkg file.
- By doing so, MyDrive Connect installer will open on your screen.
- Thereafter, click on the “Continue” option from the bottom of the page.
- Along with that, you will get the link for “license agreement”. Hence, click on the link and read the document carefully. If you agree to the terms and conditions of using this software, click on the “Agree” tab
- Next, click on the “Continue” button.
- After that, click on the “Install” tab in order to proceed further.
- Next, if prompted then type the administrator’s account name and password in the respective field. Click on the “Ok” button.
- Afterwards, click on the “Install Software” tab at the bottom of the page.
- As a result, this will install the MyDrive connect on your device successfully.
- Finally, click on the “Close” tab after completion of the installation procedure.
In this way, you can setup TomTom MyDrive Connect software on your preferred device without having any sort of problem.
